Crispy Blueberry Rice Squares

Ingredients

  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1-½ cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray
  2. In a large microwave safe bowl, on high heat, heat butter and marshmallows for 3 minutes on high, stirring after 2 minutes
  3. Add cereal and blueberries
  4. Stir until evenly coated
  5. Transfer to baking pan and gently press into an even layer
  6. Allow to cool for 15 minutes
  7. Cut into 16 squares and serve
  8. Cover and refrigerate remaining

Number of servings (yield): 16 squares
