Spiced Blueberry Rum Punch

Blueberries, rum, and cinnamon make this spiced blueberry rum punch a must-try. With all the flavors of fall and the delicious burst of blueberries, you’ll want to have it all to yourself, but its best shared with friends and family.

Spiced Rum Ingredients

  • 3 cups rum
  • 1-1/2 cups frozen blueberries

Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 cinnamon sticks

Cocktail Ingredients

  • 3 cups Spiced Rum
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon simple syrup
  • 1-1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Concord grape juice
  • 1-1/2 cups seltzer
  • Thin slices of lime, lemon and orange for garnish (optional)
  • Frozen blueberries for garnish (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)

Spiced rum Instructions

  1. In a large container with a tight fitting lid, combine rum and blueberries; cover.
  2. Let sit 6 – 12 hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally.

Cinnamon Simple Syrup Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cinnamon sticks and one cup water.
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally until reduced by 1/3.
  3. Set aside to cool.

Cocktail Instructions

  1. In a punch bowl, combine spiced rum, 1/2 cup of the simple syrup, lime juice and grape juice. Stir in seltzer.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup, if needed.
  3. Add ice to the bowl and garnish with citrus slices, and more frozen blueberries.

Number of servings (yield): 6-8 cocktails
