This time of year, it seems like everyone starts throwing outdoor dinner parties, hosting barbeques, and getting together for weekend picnics. It can be tough to find time to prepare a dish to bring to these events–but this month, I’m challenging you to skip the packaged appetizers and make something nutritious and tasty at home.
One of my favorite recipes to use for outdoor parties is this Blueberry Chutney. Since I always have blueberries on hand in the freezer, it’s something I can whip up at a moment’s notice. It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit savory and super delicious. I love bringing a jar to spread over crackers with goat cheese or feta. Everyone will appreciate that you’ve skipped the store-bought condiments and fried finger food, and be excited to have something unique brought to the table.
So here’s my May #littlechanges challenge for you: when the potluck invites start rolling in this month, skip the store bought stuff –keep your favorite frozen fruit on hand so you can impress your friends with something fresh, flavorful and healthy!
Share you experience with me using the #littlechanges hashtag, and you could be rewarded for your efforts!
Each month, one randomly drawn participant will receive a $100 gift card and prize pack. View the official rules here.
