Peppery Blueberry Dressing


  • ¼ cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries


  1. In a medium bowl combine brown sugar, vinegar and pepper until smooth
  2. Add blueberries
  3. Toss to coat
  4. Let stand at room temperature at least 20 minutes
  5. Serve over mixed fruits as an appetizer or on vanilla ice cream with pound cake for dessert

Number of servings (yield): 2 cups
